Good news -- rain jackets have arrived . We will hand them out tomorrow night before we head off to Northern Ireland match . P7 players will receive them on Saturady if not attending match.

CLUB EVENT THURSDAY 8TH NOVEMBER:

We have cancelled training this week to participate in CLUB EVENT to watch N.Ireland Under 16s play Scotland at Ballymena Showgrounds .

Meet at 6pm at Templepatrick Primary School - off on coach to Ballymena to see game --back at TPS for around 10:10pm

Cost - £3.00 to cover coach fare .Club are providing tickets.

After talking to parents /Children as it is night before 1st 11 plus paper we are assuming all P7 members of squad will not be attending . I have booked places for rest of squad -- if you cannot make it let me or Paul know asap.

RAF TRAINING:

Can all players be at Tully Road layby by 6.15pm sharp.(Map to follow)

Both squads -- U12 & U15 meet at 18:15 (prompt) Leave lay-by at18:20 (prompt) and will be transported by Clives Van , Coaches cars to complex .NB all coaches must have ID to gain admission to camp. Get into camp by 18:30

Can parents pick children up at 8.05 at Layby on Tully Road .



9 A Side @Birchill:

Just a word of thanks to the boys who came in at very short notice to play at Birchill on Saturday.

They went through 4 games undefeated winning 3 and drawing 1.

Of the original squad of 10 players only 4 played.It takes time and effort to organise these games and was particularly disappointing for Stephen and Ciaran in their first game in charge,
that so many of the original squad withdrew.

We are trying to get everyone a game so If you are not keen to play in these matches just let any of the coaches know asap.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel this Saturdays friendly due to lack of under 12 players available.

There are only 3 weeks to start of league and we need to have a few games under our belt before the league begins. I will arrange a friendly for next week and bring along some of the younger players to make up a team.

Hope you all enjoyed 5 aside tournament last night. Everyone seemed to have a good time .

The Tournament was very competitive and well done to winning team :

Adam , Christopher, Owen , James and Nicole.

We hope to arrange a similar event before the end of the season.

indoor Tournament Tuesday 20th Feb At Antrim .

Just a reminder the indoor tournament with Birchill is this Tuesday KO 7.00pm . Can all players be at Antrim as normal at 6.30pm -- we will organise the squad in to 3 possibly 4 5 a side teams depending on numbers. Birchill are bringing 3 teams. Remember we will not finish until 8.30pm and not 8.00pm.

P.S. Well done on a great battling performance today -- despite having only 11 players we gave the best team in the league a good game. Their head coach was very complimentary on the big improvement the squad has made since the last time they played us.

So keep training hard and practising , work hard for each other and the results will come.

Todays cup game at Glentoran.

Even though result didnot go our way today against the mighty Glens (beat 2-0)-- well done boys . It was a great battling performance under very difficult weather conditions.Everyone was working for each other,playing as unit, as a team ,not 11 individuals , the whole squad played their part.

If we keep this same level of commitment and effort up for the rest of the season we should fear no one in our League and the results will come.
